On Friday 10th June, a celebration was held at our school. We celebrated the 50th Anniversary since it has been built. A historic and awesome programme was presented in the school hall in the presence of the Minister for Gozo Dr. Anton Refalo, the Gozo College Principal Mr. Victor Galea, the Mayor and Archpriest of the local community together with other distinctive guests and parents. Featuring in the programme was Chev. Joe M. Attard who read a poem written by him for the occasion, a mime was performed on stage with the participation of all the students. After the programme, a mosaic panel handmade by all students and staff under the supervision of ceramic artist Ms. Mary Portelli marked the occasion and was unveiled by the Mayor Mr. Franco Ciangura. The Minister for Gozo together with the Head of School Dame Marianne Zammit unveiled two other commemorative plugs for the occasion, which were all blessed by the Archpriest of Għajnsielem, Mons. Frankie Bajada.

Nhar il-Ħamis, 26 ta’ Mejju, it-tfal tal-iskola tagħna kellhom sorpriża kbira meta l-Kap tal-Iskola stiednet lill-uħud mill-plejers ta’ Għajnsielem Football Club li din is-sena rebħu l-kampjonat. It-tfal ħadu gost ħafna meta l-plejers iffirmawlhom u saħansitra lagħbu ftit magħhom. Għall-okkażżjoni, inġab kejk li tqassam lit-tfal kollha.
May is the month dedicated to Our Lady. On Tuesday, 24th May, the crowning of the statue of Our Lady was held in the school ground. Parents were invited to attend this celebration.
Illum, it-Tnejn 16 ta’ Mejju l-iskola organizzat ‘Fun Day’ għall-istudenti kollha. Saru ħafna logħob u water games mill-għalliema tal-PE. L-istudenti kienu mqassma f’diversi gruppi. L-attrazzjoni speċjali kienet magic show għat-tfal kollha u kollha ingħataw ‘chicken hot dog’ msajjar fil-kitchen lab tal-iskola stess. Klikkja hawn biex tara r-ritratti kollha!
The Qawra/Dwejra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It combines interesting geology, both on land and under the sea. It offers rich diverse wildlife and habitats, dramatic seascapes dominated by a rocky shoreline. Its cultural elements span form the 3rd century BC to the 19th century.
