English Game – Rhyming Words

If two words end with the same sound (vowel or vowel-consonant) they rhyme. Rhyming words are simply defined as a pair of words with identical ending sound. These words are often used in poetry to give a melodious and lively feel to poems.

Two or more words can also rhyme with each other. Some of the common rhyming words are mind, kind, find, blind and hat, cat, bat, rat, fat.  Rhyming is the best and most outstanding way to help children explore language and learn to read.

River Rhyming is a game which will help you learn new rhyming words.
